City launching Pop-Up in the Park to support local vendors
The City of Grande Prairie will be giving small businesses an opportunity to sell their goods in Muskoseepi Park this summer, with the launch of a new event called Pop-Up in the Park.
Pop-Up in the Park will see a small, outdoor market be set up at the park along the path between the senior playground and outdoor pool. Vendors will be allowed to sell clothing, jewellry, or any other homemade product, except for food or alcohol.
Time slots for vendors will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every Friday to Sunday throughout the summer. Those interested must apply for space through the City’s website and must possess a business license or be an approved non-profit.
Those interested in applying must submit their application by June 15. Once approved following this date, bookings will be done on a first-come, first-booked basis.
