City of Grande Prairie’s concrete raising, crack sealing work underway

Jul 27, 2021 | 12:20 PM

The City of Grande Prairie’s mudjacking project in the Cobblestone, Pinnacle Ridge, O’Brien Lake and Westpointe neighbourhoods began Tuesday.

Mudjacking, which is a process to level sidewalks, curbs and gutters in front of residences, involves lifting the concrete.

The work takes up to three hours to complete, and sidewalks will be closed while the work is being done.

Meantime, City crews are also completing joint and crack sealing, which takes roughly eight hours for the repairs to properly set.
