County of Grande Prairie crews rescue cow from stream

The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service was able to rescue a cow from an icy stream on Saturday.

The cow was caught in a stream near the Beaverlodge River.

Personnel from the Hythe and La Glace stations, along with members of the Wembley Fire Department were all called in, as was the Large Animal Rescue Trailer kept at the La Glace station.

The cow was safely returned home.
