Jan 29, 2022 | 8:09 PM
The Grande Prairie Slow Roll Freedom Convoy drew what seemed to be over a thousand people to it on Saturday.
People from the Grande Prairie region took to the roads Saturday to show support for the truckers and their fight against the mandate of mandatory vaccinations at the Canada/U.S. border.
Others were also in attendance to protest COVID-19 restrictions that have been in place for almost two years.
The Slow Roll Freedom Convoy was set to start at 11:30 a.m., however, it was apparent by 10:00 a.m. the Grande Prairie roads would be busy.
