Mild weather expected for Easter long weekend
With the Easter long weekend upon us, those in the Peace Region will see temperatures begin to improve from this past week.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Rob Griffith says we’ll see temperatures back into the positives for the duration of the weekend.
“The Easter weekend looks fairly nice. We will get up to single-digit temperatures – not quite as warm as we had prior to this most recent cold snap, but at least trending in the right direction,” he explained.
While some models show temperatures in the city will continue to rise as we move into the spring, Griffith warns we could see one more big snowstorm next Tuesday.
