Over $50,000 raised for Ukraine in Saddle Hills County

Fundraising efforts by community organizations in Saddle Hills County managed to raise $51,501 for the citizens of Ukraine.

In March, the County advised all community organizations that they would match any funds raised through fundraising efforts the groups engaged in.

The County also supported the Spirit River Regional Academy and Bonanza School’s Art Auction to raise funds for Ukraine through matching donations.

The payment was sent this week to the Canada-Ukraine foundation in support of the embattled citizens that have been at war since February.
