Local catholic high schools hold graduation ceremonies

High school graduation ceremonies continue across the Peace region this week.

On Thursday and Friday, it is high schools within the Grande Prairie Catholic school district that will celebrate their graduates.

A cap and gown ceremony for graduates from St John Paul II high school in Grande Prairie is set for 12 noon on Thursday at Bonnett’s Energy Centre.

128 students are set to graduate from that school.

162 students are set to graduate on Friday from St Joseph’s Catholic High school.

Cap and gown ceremonies begin at 12 noon on Friday, also at Bonnett’s Energy Centre.

Meanwhile, 18 students will walk across the stage to receive their diplomas from St Thomas More school in Fairview.

Their graduation ceremony is set to begin at 1 pm on Friday in the school gymnasium.
