84 Avenue bridge construction

The City of Grande Prairie will begin work on the 84th Avenue bridge Wednesday, June, 15.

The work includes two segments, with the westbound bridge receiving repairs on the curb at the northeast corner of the bridge and pressure injecting epoxy into cracks and curbs. The other segment on the eastbound bridge will be getting repairs on the curbs and retaining walls.

Pedestrian access will be allowed during construction however, for vehicles, traffic will be reduced to single lanes and 30 km/h when necessary.

Construction is expected to be complete by the end of the month.
