The City of Grande Prairie begins annual Sidewalk Improvement Program

The City of Grande Prairie launches its annual Sidewalk Improvement Program on Wednesday, June 29.

The locations are:

• 108 Avenue (95 Street to 92 Street)
• 96A Street Hillcrest Drive (to the end of the cul-de-sac)
• 94 Avenue (Resources Road to the west)
• Patterson Place
  • 83 & 82 Avenue from Patterson Drive to 96 Street
  • 80 Avenue from 99 Street to Patterson Drive
• Prairie Road (100 Street to the west end of the sidewalk)

The first group of construction will consist of replacements, and upgrades on five locations with the site in Patterson Place having a full sidewalk removal.

This program is yearly to ensure sidewalks ensuring all sidewalks are safe and accessible for residents.
