Tolko Industries Ltd. has joined the Alberta Forest Product Association

Tolko Industries Ltd. has joined the Alberta Forest Product Association.

Alberta Forest Product Association President and CEO Jason Krips said in a news release, “we are absolutely thrilled to have Tolko join the Alberta Forest Products Association family.”

Krips said Tolko is a company known for its values, focus on diversity, inclusion, indigenous partnerships, and innovation.

For over 65 years Tolko has been a family-owned company and has operated in Alberta since 1994, they are a leading manufacturer in a number of forest products, with operations in High Prairie, Slave Lake area, and High Level where they have delivered reliability, flexibility, efficiency, and quality to customers all over the world while employing 700 people across the province.

Tolko’s President and CEO Brad Thorlakson said he is excited to join the Alberta Forest Product Association and hopes to work with them to continue advancing sustainability in Alberta forestry.
