The Aquatera Outdoor Pool will be closing after Labour Day

The Aquatera Outdoor Pool is wrapping up the swim season on Labour Day, September 5.

The outdoor pool will operate its last day on holiday hours, which is noon to 9 p.m.

The outdoor pool experienced an eventful summer, including a 60-year anniversary celebration in which they raised $1,400 in community donations for Rise Above Aquatics, over 22,000 visitors including over a thousand students, and a new naming partnership with Aquatera Utilities.

They also hosted summer swimming lessons for Lifesaving Society Preschool, had free entry for everyone on Canada Day, and even raised the temperature to 27 degrees based on visitors’ feedback.

The pool even started the season off with a giveaway for visitors and partnered with the Cool Aid Society to provide free swimming to 206 kids in the community.
