Aug 30, 2022 | 11:10 AM
A new transit route for high school students who live in the Pinnacle and Westpointe area will be available starting Wednesday, August 31.
The City of Grande Prairie has implemented Transit Route 1A which will pick up students attending St Joseph Catholic or Charles Spencer high schools from the corner of Westpointe Drive and 84 Avenue (Fas Gas) at 7:50 a.m.
However, this new route is only in the mornings and students can take Transit Route 1 home.
This new route was put in place to ensure students in this area have a safe and reliable way to make it to class on time.
