Candidates list finalized for Grande Prairie city council by-election

The city has finalized the list of candidates for its October 17th by-election.

A total of eight people are running for the seat on council vacated by the passing this summer of John Lehners.

Those candidates include Tammy Brown, Erik Gault, Kevin McLean, Solomon Okifoh, Bryan Petryshyn, Wade Pilat, Robin Rochon, and Frank Skolly.

Advanced voting will take place on both October 8th and 15th from 11 am to 7 pm at Teresa Sargent Hall in the Montrose Cultural Centre.

Voting on election day will go from 10 am to 8 pm at several polling stations throughout the city.
