High Level RCMP and CIS Unit investigating a fatal collision with a pedestrian

High Level RCMP, High Level General Investigative Sector (GIS) Unit, and officers from the Western Alberta District Traffic Section are jointly investigating a hit-and-run incident that left one person dead.

On Wednesday, November 16, High-Level RCMP received multiple reports of a male lying on Highway 35 near the community of Paddle Prairie.

Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male who had injuries that were consistent with being hit by a vehicle multiple times.

He has been identified as a 32-year-old resident of Paddle Prairie, and RCMP would like to send their condolences to his friends and family.
