Cars for Christmas lottery closes Friday night

Rotary’s Cars for Christmas lottery is into its final days, and hoping that the public will help them out with one final big push in ticket sales.

Friday night at 11:59 p.m. is the deadline to purchase tickets for your chance at one of 33 prizes in this year’s lottery.

That includes the Gas and Go grand prize package, and the Christmas Cash 50/50 draw.

Proceeds from the draw go to support 12 local non-profit groups. Those groups include:

• Big Brother Big Sisters Grande Prairie and Area
• East Smoky Minor Hockey
• Grande Prairie Public School District Education Foundation
• Grande Prairie Gymnastics and Cheerleading
• Tiny Hands of Hope
• Swan City FC
• Grande Prairie Minor Baseball
• The Grande Prairie Rotary Club
• Rotaract
• Swan City Rotary Club
• After Five
• Sunrise Rotary Clubs of Grande Prairie
