AHS offering walk-in supports for children, youth

Walk-in addiction and mental health support for youth and children and their families are now being offered daily through the Child and Youth Addiction and Mental Health office in Grande Prairie.
Located on the fourth floor of Nordic Court on 99 Street, the walk-in service is offered alongside of booked appointments from 8 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday.
Among the walk-in services provided are assessments, single sessions with a child and youth addiction and mental health therapist, as well as parental supports and referrals to other community resources.
Besides meeting in person, these services are also available via Zoom sessions, or by calling 780-538-5162 or 1-888-594-0211.
