Canada’s largest Muslim Youth Group coming to Brooks

BROOKS, AB – Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association is hosting its Explore Islam program to 1,000 towns across Canada. This Saturday the event comes to Brooks Public Library.
At the event, the Brooks community will have an opportunity to meet with Muslims and ask questions.
Imam Hanan Sobhi from the youth group says they often host events, like Meet Your Muslim Neighbour, in the bigger cities, but the organization wanted to offer an opportunity to the smaller towns.
“We grant an opportunity for our Canadian brother and sisters to come and meet with their Muslim neighbours to try and have an understanding of the other side. To come to an understanding, where we have the commonalities amongst ourselves, other than the differences. And we break bread together,” said Sobhi.
