Parking bans, residential snow removal return to Grande Prairie as of Thursday

The city says a parking ban will go into effect as of 7 a.m. Thursday morning on all permanent snow routes.

That parking ban will be in place weekdays from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. until further notice.

Meanwhile, another round of residential snow clearing is set to begin Thursday morning.

Neighbourhoods that will be visited on Thursday include Mission Heights, Kensington, O’Brien Lake and Stone Ridge.

Residential snow clearing will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with a set schedule already in place that will see all neighbourhoods cleared over a two week cycle.
