Suspicious vehicle investigation in southern Alberta leads to Bezanson man’s arrest
On the morning of February 3, Strathmore RCMP General Duty and Crime Reduction Units responded to a suspicious vehicle in a field just outside of Strathmore that was stuck in the snow.
Upon arrival, police realized the two men occupying the vehicle were wanted on Canada Wide Parole Warrants.
A search of a vehicle took place and Mounties turned up numerous illegal items:
- A replica handgun
- Government ID that did not belong to either of the individuals
- 190 grams of meth; with a street value of potentially $19,000
- $22,275 cash
- Multiple edged and impact weapons
