Suspects sought in north-end robbery

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say both suspects have been arrested but the vehicle has not been recovered. Mounties say more information will be released when it is available. They thank the public for their assistance.

Grande Prairie RCMP is looking for the public’s help in identifying suspects wanted in connection with a robbery at a north-end hotel earlier this month.

Mounties say at around 11:56 p.m. on March 1, two suspects assaulted the occupant of a room in a hotel near 120 Avenue and 100 Street.

The first suspect, described as a:

  • White male.
  • About 6 feet tall with a slim build.
  • Long hair, and a mustache.

He then took off in the victim’s 2003 Dodge 2500 with BC license plate SP5171.

He was said to be wearing glasses, jeans, a jean jacket, and a ball cap at the time.

Suspect two, who fled the scene in a white Chrysler 4-door sedan, is described as:

  • A stocky-built man.
  • Short hair.
  • Wore a dark-coloured hoodie, jeans, and a ball cap.
