Three Peace Region players in ACAC women’s hockey final starting Friday

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference women’s hockey final starts Friday night in Edmonton.

Red Deer Polytechnic Queens will play the NAIT Ooks.

The Red Deer side includes two players from the Peace, Arilyn Toews of Wembley and Jailyn Bablitz of Valleyview.

Toews is enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing program while Bablitz is in the Bachelor of Elementary Education program.

The Ooks roster includes Char Sallis of Grande Prairie. She is studying to become a Personal Fitness Trainer.
