Annual City Scrub underway in Grande Prairie

Grande Prairie residents are being encouraged to take 20 minutes to help clean up the garbage and litter that’s accumulated over the winter.

The Annual City Scrub will continue through April 30, with free supplies available to residents. That includes garbage bags and gloves, which can be picked up from five different city facilities:

• City Hall
• Muskoseepi Park
• Eastlink Centre
• Grande Prairie Museum
• City Service Centre.

Jessica Ross, Engagement Advisor, said in a release, “Together, we can create a more beautiful environment for ourselves and future generations.”

Litter collected from local parks and neighborhoods can be disposed of in curbside garbage bins, alongside common household garbage.
