Name change for Regional EMS Foundation fundraiser

The Regional EMS Foundation says one of its fundraisers has undergone a name change.

What used to be called Scotch Tasting will now be known as Premium Whiskey Tasting.

“We felt that the title ‘Premium Whisky Tasting’ more accurately reflects the quality and variety of whiskies that will be available at the event,” says Regional EMS Foundation board chair Cheryl Weaver in a release, adding “We want to make sure that our guests have an exceptional experience, and we believe that this name change better communicates the high caliber of whiskies that will be on offer.”

This year’s edition will be held on September 30.

It will include chances to try drinks from all over the world, with a panel of whisky connoisseurs to act as a guide.
