Evacuation ordered for the area between Township Road 840 and the Peace River near Fourth Creek

An Alberta Emergency Alert has been issued because of an out of control wildfire in Saddle Hills County.

It is burning in the Fourth Creek area between Township Road 840 and the Peace River, between Range Roads 75 and 85.

Officials say it is moving towards the Peace River and is threatening buildings.

People asked to evacuate the area.

That includes members of the public and people working in industry.
