Mental health presentations coming to schools in Donnelly, High Prairie, Slave Lake
An organization called LiveDifferent will be sending its road team to some schools in the Peace as part of May being Mental Health Awareness Month.
They will be among schools across the country getting a visit from an organization that says in a release “focuses on inspiring young people to make positive changes in their lives.”
It uses mentorship and assemblies as part of its Circles Program meant to help young people deal with issues like bullying and depression.
They will be at Georges P. Vanier School in Donnelly May 8; E.W.Pratt High School in High Prairie May 9, Prairie River Junior High School in High Prairie May 10 and Roland Michener Secondary School in Slave Lake May 11.
