Chamber to host all-candidates forum May 17th

With the provincial election just two-and-a-half weeks away, the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce wants to give voters a chance to get the know the local candidates, and where they stand on several issues.

The chamber will host an all-candidates forum on May 17, with all candidates in the Grande Prairie and Grande Prairie-Wapiti constituencies being invited to take part.

Chamber board chair Cindy Park will moderate the event, which will see all candidates being given the opportunity to speak about their platform, before answering questions.

The public is invited to attend the event, which will take place at the Douglas J Cardinal Performing Arts Centre at Northwestern Polytechnic.

The doors will open at 6 p.m. on the 17, with the forum beginning at 6:30. Candidates will be at the forum at 5:30 p.m. to talk with members of the public before the doors officially open.
