Official results released by Elections Alberta
A total of 1,777,321 ballots were cast in the provincial election in May, with the voter turnout at 59.5 per cent.
Of votes cast, a record-breaking 758,640 votes were made during advanced voting days and 21.9 per cent of people used the “Vote Anywhere” service.
The official count has been finalized in the ten days since Election Day. The official results are a reflection of the results of the official count.
Two electoral divisions; Calgary-Acadia and Calgary-Glenmore, came down to a difference of fewer than 100 ballots separating the winning candidate and runner-up. These two divisions were reviewed and verified by the Returning Officers.
