Local arm wrestlers ‘pull’ out medals out of Nationals

Several members of the Northern Twistmasters Arm Wrestling Club are returning home from nationals with medals.

Rycroft’s Brian Marginet took gold in both the right and left arm competitions of the 70 kg Grand Masters divisions, while Josh Berlin of Grande Prairie took gold in the super heavyweight right arm class.

Woking’s Gary MacDonald won a total of four medals – winning three silvers and a bronze in his Master and Grand Masterclasses.

Wanham’s Maria Peterson also finished second in the right arm and third in the left arm in the women’s super heavyweight divisions, while Brandon Levesque of Wanham finished third in the right arm competition of the 14-18-year-old youth 80+ kg division.
