Grande Prairie RCMP CIS investigates stolen vehicle and kidnapping case

After receiving a report of a man being assaulted and kidnapped, Grande Prairie RCMP’s General Investigation Section is seeking the public’s help.

On Friday, August 4, at 6:04 in the morning, Mounties received a call saying a man was assaulted and kidnapped by multiple assailants, near 100 Street and 79 Avenue.

The victim did manage to escape, however, he found later that the car he had been driving was stolen.

The car is described as a black 2021 Ford Mustang with Alberta license plate; M76163.
