Baconfest and horse racing at Evergreen “Pork” on Sunday

Bacon-themed treats accompanied by horse racing will be taking over Evergreen Park’s J.D.A Raceway on Sunday, August 6.

Evergreen Park is re-branding itself as Evergreen “Pork” for the annual event and will have eight different bacon treats for swine lovers to indulge in.

Horse racing starts at 1:15 p.m. and is free to attend. The Horses is heading into its second half of a 16-day race meet in Grande Prairie.

Baconfest goes from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. with tickets available for $3.50 each to purchase the various bacon items.
