MD of Greenview launching business priority survey

The Municipal District of Greenview has launched a survey to discuss business priorities in the region.

Businesses in Greenview as well as the Towns of Fox Creek and Valleyview will be contacted by Deloitte, a development consulting firm, to take the survey either by email or over the phone.

The survey results will be used to plan future economic development initiatives focused.

Businesses can expect to be contacted some time between August 15 and September 15.

The Municipal District of Greenview (Greenview) has officially launched a new Business Retention and Expansion survey for the region.

By inviting businesses from Greenview along with the Towns of Fox Creek and Valleyview to participate in this survey, information will be collected and used to plan future economic development initiatives focused on the top priorities of local businesses within Greenview and individual municipalities.

This survey embodies Greenview’s commitment to local business success and aims to identify future aspirations and needs.

To ensure the success of this endeavour, we’ve partnered with Deloitte, a leading economic development consulting firm.

Deloitte will be working with Greenview administration to review the completed surveys for challenges local businesses are facing and opportunities which can be realized.

Given the random nature of the selection process, businesses could receive communication via phone or email anytime from August 15 to September 15, 2023. Greenview encourages invited businesses to engage in the survey in the format that suits them best, knowing this valuable input will guide us toward a stronger future.

The survey should take at most 12 minutes to complete and will play a pivotal role in shaping strategies which will drive local economies forward.

Reeve Tyler Olsen commented in favour of this economic development project on behalf of Council, saying, “The economic growth potential of our local businesses is limitless, and through this survey, Greenview will be better positioned to develop and provide more effective initiatives and supports for all businesses within our borders.”
