Sep 6, 2023 | 12:28 PM
Grande Prairie is recognizing FASD Day at Muskoseepi Park Thursday.
The day is a global initiative meant to recognize and support those affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
You’re invited to show your support by walking on designated park routes with information placards, speak with representatives from the FASD Network at the park pavilion, and enjoy free face painting for all ages.
Then on September 9, the sundial near Centre 2000 will be illuminated in red to join other Canadian monuments to raise awareness for FASD on the ninth day of the ninth month.
