Special Olympics Alberta Grande Prairie annual meeting happening September 17

Special Olympics Alberta Grande Prairie is inviting the public to attend their annual meeting in mid-September.

Anyone with an interest in making a difference in their community and the lives of athletes with intellectual disabilities are encouraged to attend and learn what it takes to volunteer and coach Special Olympics in Grande Prairie.

Special Olympics Grande Prairie offers ten sports to over 100 athletes including floor hockey, curling, and swimming.

The meeting is happening at Better than Fred’s from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. September 17.

No previous experience is required to volunteer or coach with Special Olympics and all training is provided.
