Grande Prairie Curling Centre recognizing head ice maker at AGM Sept.14

The Grande Prairie Curling Centre is hosting a celebration Thursday night to recognize an award-winning employee.

Roger Miskolczi was named Curling Alberta’s Ice Technician of the Year in July for his years of dedicated work.

Miskolczi has served as head ice maker at the centre since 2010, having previously served in assistant and volunteer positions, and has garnered a reputation as a source of assistance and advice to his fellow ice makers in the region.

The centre’s annual general meeting will include a celebration recognizing Miskolczi. The meeting starts at 6:00 PM.
