St. Patrick School officially re-opens to students

St. Patrick’s School is hosting a ceremony on Monday, October 23, for its official re-opening.

It will start at 1 p.m.

Multiple local dignitaries are said to be attending, including Mayor Jackie Clayton, Minister of Education, Demetrios Nicolaides and local MLA Nolan Dyck.

The ceremony will also feature a blessing from the school and is scheduled to run until 2:30 p.m.

Boundaries for the new school were set earlier this year, after being originally closed in 2017, and demolished in 2021, due to mold issues.
