Local firefighter takes home 1st place at Strongman Nationals

The Grande Prairie Fire Fighters Association has extended a huge congratulations to one of its members.

Anne Butters, a firefighter with the City of Grande Prairie, competed in the StrongMan Nationals last week (Wednesday, October 25) in Winnipeg.

Butters went on to claim the first place spot for her division, U73-kilogram women, which resulted in her earning her StrongWoman Pro Card.

In a post on social media, the Firefighters Association congratulated Butters for her great work.
