Peace Region Canfor facilities win President’s Safety Awards

A pair of local mills have won Canfor’s President’s Safety Award.

Canfor’s Grande Prairie facility and Fort St. John pellet plant have been awarded the Wood Products Canada Safety Award for prioritizing workplace safety.

In a statement from Canfor, it was said that ‘Safety Comes First’ is a core value of the company.

They’re congratulating this year’s award winners for embedding the fundamentals of occupational health, safety, and welling into their workplace environment.
