Christmas-themed activities at Evergreen Park this weekend

Evergreen Park will be busy with Christmas-themed activities over the next few days.

Festival of Trees

The 35th Annual Festival of Trees starts Thursday (November 23) with the Sneak Peak from 4 to 8 p.m. at the TARA Centre.

Seniors Day Friday will go from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hope & Heroes Day, which includes free admission for emergency, medical personnel, and staff, goes Saturday, also from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Hours for Family Fun Day Sunday are noon to 5 p.m.

There is also a Teddy Bear Hospital and visits with Santa, among other things. All money raised goes to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital Foundation. Links to the schedule and to buy tickets can be found here or here.

Northern Spirit Lights Show

The Northern Spirit Light Show is open again Thursday through Sunday (November 23 to 26) between 6 and 10 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person. Kids get in free.

People can take a horse-drawn wagon ride or stay in their vehicle. Most nights, the cost is $15 per vehicle. All money raised is given to local charities.
