Round Dance at NWP Saturday for National Addictions Awareness Week

Grande Prairie Aboriginal Circle of Services is hosting a round dance this Saturday (November 25) at Northwestern Polytechnic.

The event is being held as a part of National Addictions Awareness Week.

It starts at 4:30 p.m. in the NWP Gymnasium with a pipe ceremony. Women traditional protocols will be followed.

There will be a feast to follow the pipe ceremony. Organizers ask anyone attending to bring their own feast dishes (plate, bowl, cup, cutlery, and napkins).

After the feast from 6:30-12:00 p.m., the round dance will take place.
