Grande Prairie RCMP ask for public help with Spirit River fraud investigation

Following a fraudulent bank transaction at a business in Spirit River on November 7, Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects.

The crime was reported to the Mounties on November 21.

Once on the scene, officers obtained security footage of the two suspects:

In the release, Mounties supplied a description of both suspects:

First Suspect:

  • Male
  • 45-55 years old
  • 5 feet, 4 inches
  • 210 pounds
  • Short gray hair
  • Short salt and pepper beard
  • Last seen wearing; a white and beige baseball cap with a logo, dark clothes, and a black over-the-shoulder bag.

Second Suspect:

  • Female
  • 45-55 years old
  • 5 feet, 2 inches
  • 190 pounds;
  • Short brown hair
  • Last seen wearing; a white and brown diamond patterned shirt, dark coat, and a black purse.
