Nov 29, 2023 | 1:31 PM

The Weather Network has released its forecast for the coming winter.

It is calling for above normal temperatures for all of Alberta and British Columbia and below normal precipitation for all of Alberta and all but the far northwest corner of B.C.

TWN is calling for a “mild and dry pattern” leading up to Christmas in Alberta.

It says there could be colder weather and more snow in mid to late winter.

The Weather Network also says that there will still be what it calls “high-impact winter weather.”

The winter forecast says this could be “one of the strongest El Nino events on record.”
