Three John D’or Prairie residents arrested for murder

The Alberta Major Crimes Unit has made arrests in connection to a suspicious death in John D’or Prairie on Tuesday December 5.

The Edmonton Medical Examiners office conducted an autopsy on December 8 and deemed the death to be a homicide.

Three people from John D’or Prairie have been arrested and charged with the second degree murder of 25-year-old Nathan Nanooch.

The three are:

  • 18-year-old Montana Tallcree
  • 19-year-old Caden Nanooch
  • A youth who cannot be named

After a judicial hearing, all three were remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in Fort Vermillion court on Tuesday December 12.

The matter is now before the courts and RCMP will not supply any further updates.

John D’or Prairie is approximately 120 km east of High Level.
