New duties for Grande Prairie justice
A criminal court judge in Grande Prairie has been given some new duties.
The province says in a release that Justice Andrea Chrenek has been named the assistant chief justice for the Alberta Court of Justice for the northern region.
Chrenek will serve a five-year term, starting immediately.
“With three decades of experience, Justice Chrenek brings a wealth of knowledge, legal acumen, and a commitment to justice that will continue the long-standing excellence of Alberta’s judiciary,” says Minister of Justice and Attorney General Mickey Amery in that same release.
