Grande Prairie Inclusive and Caring Community Initiative launches inclusivity workshops

A series of workshops centered around attracting, retaining, and integrating immigrants into Grande Prairie launches today.

The City of Grande Prairie’s Inclusive and Caring Community Initiative workshops are supported by the Alberta Government’s Settlement, Integration and Language Project to enhance the city’s capacity to welcome and support new residents, says the city in a social media post.

The workshops are divided into two sub-sections over the week with some workshops specifically for employers and some for service providers and ethno-cultural organizations.

The workshops run from January 8-16.
