Peace Regional RCMP asking for public’s help locating truck tools stolen from Peace River business

UPDATE:

Peace Regional RCMP has recovered the stolen truck and tools, near Highway 986 and Township Road 852.

At this time, the RCMP are still investigating this incident and ask anyone who could identify the suspect, or suspects, and the black truck seen with the stolen vehicle to contact the Peace Regional RCMP detachment at 780-624-6611, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8377 (TIPS), or online at www.P3Tips.com.

Peace Regional RCMP are seeking public assistance in locating a break and enter suspect that may be in the Grande Prairie area.

On Monday January 15, RCMP were dispatched to a break and enter at a business in 107 Avenue in Peace River.

Surveillance showed a black truck in the area, before an individual entered the business’ yard and stole a large quantity of work tools, and a custom picker truck they rammed through the gate. They left with the black truck around 4:30 AM.

The black truck is described as a newer dark GMC Sierra with an extended cab, while the other stolen truck is a white 2012 GMC Sierra with a custom picker deck, the WEAVER logo on the doors and unit number 138 over the front wheel wells.

Mounties say the suspect was potentially heading to the Grande Prairie area.
