STARS Lottery returns for 2024

The STARS Lottery has returned for 2024.

The lottery began on January 18, and tickets can be purchased until March 24.

STARS President and CEO Katherine Emberly said, “For nearly 40 years, STARS has relied on the support of Albertans to help ensure everyone has access to life-saving care, no matter who they are or where they are located.”

The STARS Lottery is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser, and the organization says the lottery typically raises enough to fund the 24/7 operations of one of its Alberta bases.

In 2024, 2,105 prizes are eligible to be won, including one of three show homes, located in Lethbridge, Edmonton and Calgary. The total value of the prizes totals more than $4.8 million, and also includes a Winnebago RV and an Early Bird prize of $500,000 in cash.
