MD and Town of Fairview requesting meeting regarding St. Thomas More School relocation

The Town of Fairview and the MD of Fairview No. 136 are requesting a meeting to discuss the future of St. Thomas More School.
Both Municipal Councils have signed a letter to Central Peace-Notley MLA Todd Loewen to request a meeting with the Minister of Education, the Grande Prairie & District Catholic School Division, the Peace River School Division, Northwestern Polytechnic, and both councils in response to their lack of information regarding relocating the school to the Northwestern Polytechnic grounds.
The letter calls out the lack of public engagement or stakeholder involvement regarding the move and that there are planning/development and safety concerns that need to be addressed.
