City and Cascade Energy set to host free skate

The City of Grande Prairie and Cascade Energy Services is hosting a free skate at the Design Works Centre on Sunday, February 11.

Taking place from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., rentals of skates and helmets will also be free, but the City notes they are in a limited supply and will be handed out on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cascade Energy Services will also be collecting non-perishable food items during the skate to donate to local food banks.
