City Firefighters donate $7,500 to PWPSD

Through the Grande Prairie Firefighters Charitable Foundation, city firefighters have donated $7,500 to the Peace Wapiti Public School Division.

These funds are a “welcomed boost” for PWSPD, as the “lunch programs have felt the pressure of increased food prices,” according to PWPSD’s Assistant Superintendent, Shawn O’Shea.

First established in 2007, the Charitable Foundation was founded to help support residents in Grande Prairie, either directly or by funding services and programs that support the community.
