County of GP lifts fire advisory

The fire advisory for the County of Grande Prairie has been lifted.

The advisory was originally issued due to unseasonably dry winter weather conditions, but has since been lifted following Sunday’s record-breaking snowfall.

Despite the advisory being lifted, residents are reminded we are still in wildfire season and anyone operating a fire pit or burn barrel will need a fire permit.
